We are sorry to announce that due to the current Covid-19 situation, the IPSCC will no longer take place in 2020. Instead, the event will be postponed to a new date next year. Attendees who have already registered will have the registration canceled and will not be charged. Welcome to the International PhD Student Cancer Conference (IPSCC) website. The 14th annual conference will be hosted by the CRUK Beatson Institute and the University of Glasgow from Wednesday 24th to Friday the 26th of June 2020.
Since 2007, the IPSCC has brought together PhD students from top cancer research institutes across Europe. This joint meeting is only for PhD students from the following participating institutes:
The programme will include oral and poster presentations from the student attendees, three presentations from high-profile keynote speakers, and presentations about the participating institutes. In addition, there will be career workshops focusing on a variety of scientific careers within and beyond academia.
This year, we are excited to announce the following international Keynote speakers:

- Ilaria Malanchi (Francis Crick Institute, London, UK)
- Eyal Gottlieb (Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel)

While students from all years are invited to participate, students in the more advanced stages of their PhD are particularly encouraged to attend and give oral presentation of their work. In the event of over-subscription, preference will be given to students near the end of their PhD. All attendees will have to present their research, by either giving a talk or presenting a poster.
